This spring, a Life Science Accelerator Programme for companies within professional healthcare and life sciences was initiated by The Russian-Finnish Life Science Park in cooperation with Turku Science Park Ltd and City of Kotka.

The accelerator programme includes an intensive training schedule with themed workshops, individual mentoring, and access to scientific, business & partnership networks in Russia & Finland. Pitching to potential investors and clients, as well as access to RFLSP laboratories for R&D projects are also part of the programme. The accelerator is lasting for six months and the best companies will be awarded with participation at a major European life science event.

“The programme drew lots of interest in Russia and Finland and we received many interesting applications. The next step is to select the best candidates through one-on-one company interviews. Altogether 10 companies will be selected to the programme,” told Teppo Laaksonen, Network Manager from Turku Science Park Ltd.

The programme is to start at the end of May, when the first workshop is taking place and the individual company consultations will begin.
