The agreement was signed in the course of the meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint-Petersburg Andrey Khlutkov and Kotka Mayor Esa Sirviö on September 27.
The practical cooperation is developing due to project activities of two cities under the South-East Finland – Russia CBC 2014-2020 Programme.
During the meeting St. Petersburg Technopark and Kotka city signed a partnership agreement for the implementation of Russian-Finnish Life Science Park with overall funding of 3,5 mln euros.
